The annual Game Jam continues to be one of the most thrilling and awe-inspiring events at RDC. If last year’s Game Jam was any indication of the quality and caliber we can expect to see overnight from the competing teams, then we can’t wait to see just how far participants will push their creativity this time around. The stakes will be higher than ever before, as the Game Jam returns with a brand-new theme.
This year's Game Jam will be held the weekend prior to RDC. Participants will have 24 hours to complete their game.
You’ve worked day and night (literally) on your Game Jam project. Now the time has come to show off what you made! Our judging panel, composed of Roblox experts, will evaluate your creation based on several criteria. Will your team take home a coveted Game Jam award plaque, or better yet, have your Roblox usernames forever engraved on the RDC Game Jam trophy? Good luck, developers!
Be the first to hear about new trends, research, and technology that will shape the future of Roblox. Our opening ceremony kicks things off with keynote presentations from Roblox founder and CEO David Baszucki, VP of Developer Relations Matthew Curtis, and VP of Engineering Adam Miller.
Attendees will be able to view multiple breakout sessions in and across two separate tracks, both of which are focused on key game development topics. Get a deeper understanding of game design and discover industry-standard strategies to make your game a worldwide success. We’ll also be hosting a panel featuring Roblox staff, offering you an opportunity to ask questions and have your voice heard.

Developer Booths Roblox Developer Booths are virtual links where developers can engage with representatives of top Roblox studios during RDC, get their questions answered, submit resumes and more. Will there be a livestream of the event?
Yes, all talks will be livestreamed via Zoom. You must have an RDC invite and a Zoom account to access the presentations. After RDC, we’ll upload the content to a variety of platforms for on-demand viewing.
Will there be a Game Jam this year?Yes! We are excited to host our 3rd annual overnight Game Jam. It begins on Saturday morning the weekend prior to RDC, July 18-19.

RDC 2020 is free, but you must have an invite to attend. All keynotes, breakout sessions, and game jam presentations will be available on-demand on other video streaming platforms after the event.
Can you attend RDC without an invite?No, RDC is an invite-only event.
Will there be swag this year?Yes, all attendees will be receiving swag.
When should I expect my swag?During registration, you will be prompted to provide your shipping address and telephone number. If you have moved since the time you registered for the event, please email registration@bash-creative.com for support.
Please note due to the pandemic we are experiencing longer than anticipated shipping and delivery windows for swag. Swag should arrive in October 2020. We apologize for the inconvenience.
